Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of maximtaxstrategies.com, our application and booking pages, our text messages and our strategy calls. They're between you and Maxim Tax Strategies[, LLC once formed] ("Maxim," "we," "us"). By using the site, applying or booking a call, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. What we do
Maxim provides tax planning and implementation services for business owners and investors. A tax plan is a written plan built around your income, entities, properties and goals. Every plan is prepared and signed by [CPA NAME], CPA, a licensed certified public accountant. Implementation means helping you put the plan in place with your existing advisors or ours.
Unless your written agreement says otherwise, we don't prepare or file your tax returns, represent you before the IRS or a state tax agency, give legal advice, or give investment advice. Some strategies involve legal documents, insurance or investments; for those, you'll work with a licensed attorney, insurance professional or investment adviser.
2. No advice until you're engaged
Information on this site, in our videos, emails and texts, and on a strategy call is general. It isn't tax, legal, accounting or investment advice for your situation. An advisory relationship starts only when you and Maxim sign a written engagement agreement and your plan fee is paid. If anything in these terms conflicts with your engagement agreement, the engagement agreement controls.
3. Applying and booking
- Give us accurate information. Plans and the guarantee depend on it.
- Don't upload tax returns or other sensitive documents through the application. If you're a fit, we'll send you a secure upload link.
- We review every application and may decline or cancel a call at our discretion, for example if the savings probably aren't there.
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
- If you can't make your call, please reschedule using the link in your confirmation.
4. Fees and payment
The strategy call is free. If you hire us, your fees, payment schedule and any financing are set out in your engagement agreement before you pay. The plan fee and the implementation fee are separate. Except as stated in the 3x Savings Guarantee below, in your agreement, or where the law requires it, fees aren't refundable once work has started. If you have a billing question, contact us before disputing a charge with your card issuer so we can fix it.
5. The 3x Savings Guarantee
- What it covers. The plan fee only. Implementation fees, and fees you pay to other professionals, aren't covered.
- What "identify" means. Estimated savings documented in your written plan from tax-code strategies you qualify for, compared with a baseline projection of your tax without the plan, for the first tax year the plan covers.
- What counts. Federal income tax savings only. Strategies that require you to make an investment (for example, buying property or equipment, or funding an investment product) don't count toward the 3x.
- What you need to do. Provide complete, accurate documents and information by the dates in your agreement, and attend your scheduled plan calls. If the information you gave us was incomplete or inaccurate, or documents arrive late, the guarantee doesn't apply.
- How to claim it. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] within 30 days of the date your written plan is delivered. We.ll confirm the refund within [10] business days and send it to your original payment method.
- One per client. The guarantee applies once per client and per plan year.
- Savings aren't promised. The guarantee is about savings the plan identifies. How much you actually save depends on you carrying out the plan, your final numbers, and changes in law or IRS guidance.
Your engagement agreement includes these terms in writing. If they differ, the engagement agreement controls.
6. Results and testimonials
Examples, numbers and client stories on this site are real and shared with permission. They aren't typical or guaranteed. Your results depend on your income, entity structure, location, timing and how fully you carry out your plan.
7. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and check the box to receive texts, you agree to receive text messages from Maxim Tax Strategies about your application, your call (confirmations and reminders) and your service. Consent isn't a condition of buying anything.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop receiving texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email [CONTACT EMAIL].
- Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- We don't share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing. See our Privacy Policy.
8. Calls and recordings
Strategy calls take place on Zoom or by phone. We won't record a call without telling you first and getting your consent at the start of the call. If you'd rather not be recorded, just say so.
9. Using the site
Please don't misuse the site: no scraping, automated applications, attempts to break or overload it, false information, or using it for anything unlawful. We may block access if you do. Links to other websites are for convenience; we don't control them and aren't responsible for them.
10. Our content
The site, its text, videos, graphics and the Maxim name and logo belong to Maxim or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use. Please don't copy, republish or sell them without our written permission. Your written plan is for your own use and that of your advisors.
11. Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise the site will always be available or error-free. Tax law changes often, and general content may be out of date.
12. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Maxim and its owners, CPAs, staff and contractors won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the site or these terms. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid Maxim in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.
Professional services you buy from us are governed by your engagement agreement, including its own liability terms. Some places don't allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
13. Disputes and governing law
California law governs these terms. If you have a problem, contact us first at [CONTACT EMAIL]; most issues get resolved quickly. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring the claim in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, or in small claims court where it qualifies.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and changes apply from that date. Changes won't affect a signed engagement agreement unless you agree.
