Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2, 2026

This policy explains what information Maxim Tax Strategies[, LLC once formed] ("Maxim," "we," "us") collects through maximtaxstrategies.com, our application and booking pages, our calls, emails and texts, and our services; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

What you give us.

  • Contact details: name, email, mobile number.
  • Application answers: roughly how much tax you paid, how you earn, how your business is set up, revenue and profit ranges, whether you own investment real estate, your current CPA, what you could invest, and what frustrates you about your taxes.
  • Booking details: the time you pick and anything you add in the notes.
  • If you become a client: tax returns, financial statements, entity and property documents, identification numbers (such as your Social Security number or EIN) and anything else your plan needs, collected through a secure upload link, not the application.
  • Payment details, which go straight to our payment processor. We don't store full card numbers.
  • What you tell us on calls, by email or by text.

What we collect automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, pages you visit, how you got to the site, and the time of your visit, through cookies, pixels and similar tools (see section 6).

What we get from others. Details from ad platforms if you fill in a lead form there, and information from your other advisors (such as your CPA or attorney) when you ask them to send it to us.

2. How we use it

  • To review your application and decide whether a plan is likely to be worth it for you.
  • To schedule, confirm and remind you about calls.
  • To build, deliver and help you carry out your tax plan, and to honor the 3x Savings Guarantee.
  • To bill you and keep business records.
  • To answer your questions and send you service messages.
  • To send you emails about our services. You can unsubscribe any time.
  • To measure and improve our site and ads.
  • To protect against fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and professional obligations.

3. Your tax return information

Tax return information gets extra protection under federal law (Internal Revenue Code section 7216). We use it only to provide the services you hired us for. We won't use or disclose it for any other purpose, including marketing, unless the law allows it or you give us written consent first. If any part of the work would be done by team members outside the United States, we'll ask for your specific written consent before your tax return information is shared with them.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Our licensed CPAs and contractors who work on your plan, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Service providers that run our business for us, such as our website, CRM and scheduling platform (HighLevel), video calls (Zoom), payments, email and text delivery, secure document storage and cloud hosting. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
  • Other professionals you ask us to work with, such as your CPA, attorney or financial adviser.
  • Legal and safety reasons: to comply with law, a subpoena or a regulator, or to protect rights, property or safety.
  • A business transfer: if Maxim is merged or sold, your information may transfer, still protected by this policy.

We never give your application answers, tax information or financial documents to advertisers.

5. Text messages

If you agree to receive texts, we use your number to send messages about your application, your call and your service. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the sharing described in this policy excludes text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages.

6. Cookies, pixels and ads

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your progress through the application, and understand how visitors use the site. When we advertise, we may also use advertising pixels and tags (such as Meta's and Google's) to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Those companies may collect information about your activity on our site and other sites over time.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, adjust your ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts, or opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info. Our site doesn't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

7. How we protect it

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including secure upload links for documents and access limited to the people who need it to serve you. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send tax returns or identification numbers by regular email or text.

8. How long we keep it

We keep client information for as long as we're working together and afterward for as long as tax, accounting and professional rules require. If you apply but don't become a client, we keep your application for up to [24] months, or less if you ask us to delete it.

9. Your choices and rights

  • Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Texts: reply STOP.
  • Access, correction and deletion: email [CONTACT EMAIL] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may need to keep some information to meet legal or professional obligations, and we'll tell you if so.
  • California residents: depending on how the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, you may have rights to know, delete, correct and limit the use of your personal information. We won't treat you differently for using them. We don't share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.

We'll verify your identity before acting on a request, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

10. Notice for clients

If you become a client, the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act also protects the nonpublic personal information you give us. We don't share it with companies outside Maxim except as needed to provide your services, with your consent, or as the law permits. Because we don't share it in any other way, there's nothing you need to opt out of.

11. Children

Our site and services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we'll post it here and, for clients, let you know directly.
